BC LITHIUM MY24 is an intelligent battery charger and maintainer with its maximum charging current of 1 Amp, it is designed for perfect and complete maintenance of all latest generation 12 V lithium starter batteries (lithium ion & LiFePO4) from 1.2 Ah up to 100 Ah.
BC Battery Controller products charge the battery much faster than traditional battery chargers.

The BC LITHIUM MY24 model is able to restore sulphated batteries and recover 1.25V batteries (the lowest level on the market).
Thanks to its spark-proof system and its protections against overloads, polarity reversals and short circuits, BC LITHIUM 900 ensures a high level of protection and has been tested on all brands of motorcycles and scooters, guaranteeing absolute compatibility with the electronic system of each motorcycle/scooter.
Also equipped with a cutting-edge microprocessor, the product is able to guarantee extreme efficiency in battery charging and reduce energy consumption to a minimum.
The battery chargers and maintainers in the BC Battery Controller range are fully automatic and can be left connected to the battery 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for months, or even years, completely safely.

With an elegant and compact design, with a very robust body that prevents slipping and makes it resistant to scratches, falls, accidental crushing, UV rays and water (IP44), the product is perfect for use in any circumstance and occasion.

CHARGING ALGORITHM - CHARGING PROGRAM

The charger is equipped with an internal microprocessor that checks the battery status in real time and independently performs 8 charging cycles.
• Phase 1 - Initialization: checks that the battery is in optimal condition for charging/recovery by ensuring that there are no short circuits between one or more battery cells. Thanks to an integrated sensor that measures the ambient temperature: at low temperatures (< 5°C) the charging current is limited, the safe charging mode POLAR MODE is automatically activated.
• Phase 2 - Recovery: if the battery is in an extremely low discharge condition (starting from 1.25V), the device attempts to recover it in order to bring it to higher voltages, compatible with the next phase.
• Phase 3 - Soft Charge: if the battery is very low, the device supplies a light pulsed current, to allow the battery to overcome the critical phase.
• Phase 4 - Main Charge: during this phase the battery can recover up to 85-90% of its capacity, thanks to the charger's ability to deliver full current.
• Phase 5 - Battery Analysis: the device interrupts the current supply for a few dozen minutes and checks that the battery is able to retain the charge received during the previous cycles. 
This phase is repeated periodically at regular intervals.
• Phase 6 - Maintenance: thanks to a specially designed electronic circuit, the device maintains the battery charge during periods of non-use, without overheating, overcharging and loss of water/electrolyte.
• Phase 7 - Equalization: this phase is performed every 30 days in order to rebalance the battery cells, thus avoiding electrolyte stratification phenomena.
